Project report

The Leuro Building is a Business Centre located in the district of Miraflores. Providing green areas in a city like Lima (a desert area) is essential to achieve a natural environment within the city. This need was the main reason for creating human scale green spaces on several floors of the building, so that employees would feel invited to linger during their breaks. The main idea of the landscaping design was to create green roofs that would make the visitor feel like not being in the city. The Leuro Business Centre is the first sustainable building in Peru and the first one to obtain the LEED Platinum certificate. The landscaping design was realised using a system build-up based on the drainage element Floradrain® FD 40-E.
