Project report

This intensive Green Roof designed by Cecconi Simone Inc and located in downtown Toronto, was installed with the Floradrain® FD 40-E elements on top of a carport and includes a reflective pond with an orange tile liner, boxwood hedges, ornamental grasses and perennials. The green roof is a visual extension of the rear garden creating captivating views from the third floor balcony of this residence. Night lighting adds an unique visual dimension creating a feast for the eye at evening garden parties. The green roof was awarded with bronze status in the landscape category of the Globe and Mail Design Exchange Awards 2007, the most highly anticipated and the only Canadian multi-disciplinary design competition.
